PE days for Summer 1 (Mon 8th April – Thurs 23rd May)

Please send your child to school in their PE kit on the following days:

RL – Mon & Thurs

RM – Thurs & Fri

Y1 – Wed & Fri

2B – Mon & Thurs (wb. 08/04, 15/04, 22/04) then just Thurs PE kit and swimming kit (wb. 29/04, 06/05, 13/05)

2MB – Thurs PE kit and swimming kit (wb. 08/04, 15/04, 22/04) then Thurs & Fri thereafter

3N – Tues & Thurs

3G – Wed (swimming 6 weeks) & Thurs

Year 4 – Thurs & Fri (4K swimming Wed 22/05 due to missed session last term)

Year 5 – Tues & Thurs (5JK swimming Thurs 23/05 due to missed session last term)

Year 6 – Tues &  Wed

(These days may have changed from last term due to ActivSports coaches and swimming)

PLASTIC BOTTLES

Next week – please could children in Reception bring in an empty (and clean) plastic bottle. It can be any size.

We are reading the story of, ‘Room the Broom’ and we are going to create our own potion. We will bring them home in the last week to show our families 🙂

There’s still time to enter Empower Trust’s Spring Writing Challenge… if completed at home, parents can email it in or you can ask teachers to do so, if you do it at school. You have until Wed 13th March. We cannot wait to see what fantastic forest adventures you come up with.

We have been learning that two letters make one sound. In phonics we call these ‘Special Friends’.

🎲🃏📆📏🧮NSPCC Number Day🧮📏📆🃏🎲

Thank you to everyone that took part in Friday’s NSPCC Number Day. The outfits were incredible; we had walking dice, human calculators, huge balloons, handmade t-shirt designs and sports kits from teams all over the world. The children loved taking on different maths puzzles and challenges – there were tangrams, orienteering, Times Tables Rockstar, nRich problem solving activities, the Arithmetown Trophy Thief Mystery and loads more. All of this fun and learning also helped raised money for a very important charity, the NSPCC, so far we have raised £153.
