At St Peter’s School we have wonderful facilities to accommodate the many learning activities and adventures that we have with the children.
Our school building comprises well equipped classrooms, an extensive library, school hall with kitchens where dinners are cooked on site and many other areas that we make good use of during each school day.
Accessibility
Although an old building, we pride ourselves on being a school which actively seeks to be fully accessible. Our ground floor is wheel chair accessible for pupils and parents due to wide corridors, appropriate width door openings and automatic release fire doors enabling independent access around the building. Outdoor areas are accessible in the main. All classes are fitted with window blinds and carpets to improve access for children with sensory needs
Our grounds are surprisingly extensive and include a wonderful playing field and running track, a great range of interesting play equipment and outbuildings. We even have our own onsite Forest Schools area!
We also have large garden areas within our main courtyard for budding horticulturalists, two large playgrounds and quiet areas too. For children who cycle to school we provide useful bike and scooter racks.
