We understand that starting school may be daunting- for children and parents!
At St Peter’s, staff work to ensure a smooth transition process with the sole aim of ensuring a happy and positive start to school life.
We promote positive links with all our partner pre-school providers and the transition begins early in the summer term with children joining us for school liaison days.
On these days, children experience a taste of school life, taking part in exciting activities. This familiarity with St Peter’s allows children who haven’t attended out Nursery to ease into school life very quickly.
We hope to make sure that the transition process is seamless, happy and enjoyable for all our children.
Your child’s first days at primary school mark a big change for them and for your family. Please be assured that we understand how important it is that things go as smoothly as possible.
